PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES THE APPOINTMENT OF THE FCTA HEAD OF SERVICE, PERMANENT SECRETARIES, OTHERS.

1. His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has approved the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioners of the FCT Civil Service Commission.

 

2. They are:

                I. Engr. Emeka Ezeh – Chairman

              II. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed – North West

            III. Chief Anthony Okeah – South-South

            IV. Mohammed Magaji Ibrahim – North East

              V. Miskoom Alexander Naantuam - North Central

            VI. Hon. Jide Jimoh – South West

          VII. Barrister Martin Azubike – South East

 

3. Similarly, Mr. President also approved the following to fill existing vacancies in some critical agencies of the FCTA. They are:

        i. Abdulkadir Zulkarfi - Coordinator Satellite Town Development Department;

       ii. Chief Felix Obuah - Coordinator Abuja Metropolitan Management Council; and

     iii. Oladiran Olufemi Akindele - Coordinator, Abuja Infrastructure Investment Council (AIIC).

4. Also, to strengthen the bureaucratic structure of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Mr. President equally approved the appointment of the Head of the Civil Service and Permanent Secretaries in the FCT Civil Service.

5. Mr. Atang Udo Samuel is appointed as the Head of the Civil Service and the following as Permanent Secretaries:

      I. Dr Adam Babagana – North East

    II. Wanki Adamu Ibrahim – North East

  III. Asmau Mukhtar – North West

  IV. Dogo Aliyu Wadata Bodinga – North West

    V. Olusa Olusegun – South West

  VI. Adetoyi Rabiu Kolawole – South West

On 6th of november 2022, Pedro a musical artiste based in nasarawa state nigeria, made a post on his facebook social handle, on which he referred to himself as a king and hero, and as well challenged anyone that wants to test into a verse challenge.

The C.E.O of Vibrant Music Empire (freenity), made a post too, on his facebook social handle to tell who is a legend, which he listed out 5 characters for someone to be considered a legend.

He said:-

(2) Puting your state on the map

(3) Headlining various shows

(4) Being paid hugely for shows/events

(5) Winning souls with your music

On making this post, Pedro still insists on going for a verse challenge, while freenity insists that pedro is not a legend.

Dr. Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, a senior lecturer with the department of History and International Studies at Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), was on Friday, October 21, captured ruthlessly brutalizing a 20-year-old girl who fought his daughter over a man.

The girl, named Blessing Mathias, had sometime last week confronted Ayokhai's daughter, Emmanuella Onawegie, for trying to 'snatch' her boyfriend, simply identified as IG.

Blessing confronted Emmanuel in Lafia, Nasarawa State, after she found out that she had her boyfriend's number and was chatting with him. She had asked her to delete the number but Emmanuel blatantly refused leading to a fight.

Fast forward to yesterday, Emmanuel in company of her father, Ekpe Ayokhai; her brother, Praise Shola; and other family members, stormed Blessing's home to give her the most inhuman treatment ever.

Videos recorded by the family show that they used sticks, wood, belt, among others to beat her mercilessly before forcing her into their car. They, thereafter, drove her deep into an unknown forest where the senior lecturer used a pair of scissors to tear her dress from her body.

They later pushed her out of the car, took pics of her and abandoned her in the forest.

NB: We're now certain that the man in question has been arrested and detained along his daughter and we will make sure everyone in that video is arrested by they all in one way if the other aided this criminality

Ada Ameh A Nollywood Actress Reportedly Dead

 

Veteran Nollywood performer Ada Ameh has passed away.

The actress passed away on Sunday night. She was most known for playing Emu in the Africa Magic family drama, The Johnsons.

Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, confirmed the information over the phone to StarzVibe on Monday morning.

"Ada was lost. We've lost Ada, Rollas said, without going into further detail at this time.

However, numerous unsubstantiated rumors on social media stated that the actress died Sunday night at a hospital in Delta State.

At around 11 p.m. on Sunday, she reportedly passed away in Warri, Delta State, after collapsing.

According to sources, she was visiting an oil business employee and his family in the Delta city at the time of her death.

She reportedly passed away while being transported to the adjacent Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Hospital.

The autopsy report of the most likely cause or causes of Adah Ameh's sudden death has not yet been made public by the NNPC hospital in Warri.

Additionally, DSP Bright Edafe, the police public relations officer for Delta State Command, was unavailable for comment at the time this report was filed.

The actress disclosed her struggles with mental health a few weeks ago.

"Everything will work out just fine. My life is currently being threatened by a problem I have. I won't pass away. We'll go past it, Ameh had promised.

The actress claimed that although she was given a job, she was unable to complete it due of mental health concerns.

The 48-year-old actress previously disclosed that she became pregnant with her daughter when she was just 13.

She claims that this occurred as a result of early sex exposure from peers.

Despite having given birth young, the actress lost her 30-year-old daughter Aladi Godgift in October 2020.

Aladi had passed away in Abuja following a failed surgery, and the actress last year paid a visit to her daughter's grave to commemorate the deceased's one-year passing.

In addition, she had celebrated her daughter on the latter’s posthumous birthday.

ASUU Declares Monday 7th February 2022 Lecture Free As They Begins Preparations For Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has urged its chapters around the country to raise public awareness about the union's dispute with the federal government. This is why, in order to raise awareness, it has designated Monday, February 7, 2022 as a lecture-free day.

Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, the Union's National President, revealed this in a chat with a Punch journalist on Saturday evening.

According to the Sunday PUNCH, the directive to ASUU chapters came less than a week after President Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) pledged his administration's commitment to honouring the union's agreement.

When members of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council came to see Buhari to discuss the remaining issues, he made the pledge.

Buhari pleaded with the union to be patient and consider current economic realities as he made the pledge.

ASUU's most recent nationwide strike began in March 2020 and ended in December 2020, when a Memorandum of Action was signed.

However, a year after signing the Memorandum of Understanding, ASUU accused the government of failing to live up to its end of the bargain and threatened to go on strike again right once.

The government moved promptly to pay N55 billion as part of the Earned Academic Allowance and Revitalization Fund, but the union refused to budge until the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council and other dignitaries intervened.

Prof Osodeke told Sunday PUNCH that the union had not yet declared a strike, but that it would be informing the public, including the media, about the current state of affairs between the union and the Federal Government.

Prostitute Burnt To Ashes Alongside Customer

A massive fire broke out at the "Rainbow Hotel" along Hakimi Street, before the bridge in Television, Kaduna, this morning, Saturday, February 5th, 2022.

A female prostitute and her male customer, both of whom were alleged to be inebriated, were confirmed dead after being choked by the smoke and unable to flee.

It was a very terrible incident today as both parties lost their lives.
